We have no lamps...havn&#039;t since Patrick was 1.  Pretty sure we won&#039;t be acquiring one any time soon.  I did recently get a pair of lovely new wall sconces though.</description>

Handy hint that I learned via my American pal.

When Brits say ..&quot;actually.......&quot; it really means &#039;er&#039; or &#039;um&#039; but for some reason it&#039;s translated as being intelligent, whereas really we&#039;re just stalling for a moment whilst we wait for the right word to materialise.
