My mother-in-law asks as many questions. No matter what I respond, it's another question and then an apology if I snap (so I feel bad), and another question, mostly food-related, or about what Charlie can eat (no dairy, no wheat at least the wheat stuffs in the house----Wonder Bread), or what I might eat (I'm a vegetarian, in-laws seem to have decided to live in Stouffer's frozen items). I used to scrub the floor in our old house at these moments-----someday I would like to send you a 24-hour-ticket for sitting in a chair and Doing Nothing Too Much. (If you would like it; maybe I should offer one to myself.)

Don't you wish you could just yell "FREEZE" and everything would stop? But you could keep moving... doing the things you need, relax for a minute and then "UNFREEZE" and continue with the chaos?

Sometimes adding that one extra voice (even when it's an adult voice and one much loved) just sends me over the edge. Sounds like a frustrating day! Hope you got some rest at the end of it.

My boys eat way too much peanut butter. *sigh*

Everything in our house is original since we're the original owners. None of it is in its original state, though. You can tell because it's all taped, super-glued, and jerry rigged back together by my inventive husband.

It stinks to have house necessities break. It stinks even more to not be able to afford to have it fixed. Don't make me relive the memory to tell you about the June in Houston when our AC broke and we had no money for repairs. Oh, what a nightmare that was.
