Hello,
This is my first trip to your blog. I will be back! Thank you for sharing your world…man, I was in that car with you. I will remember you the next time my #1 son (most likely Asperger’s Syndrome) and #2 son (most likely ADHD) start to drive me a little bonkers. And yes, I too was warned…now you want him to talk…but once we get him talking, we can’t turn him back off. I thank God for my precious children…and ask for everything I’m gonna need to raise them well.

I must admit, I sometimes wonder whether the noise or the physical assault is the worse stressor. I’m constantly pummelled, used for head banging (at least I am very soft!), clung to, circled, tapped – even when they mean to be affectionate, the impact can be bruising. But I think that it is the noise that is hardest to manage sometimes. I feel just exhausted when I finally get them to sleep! But the quiet, still of them asleep – it is foreign and wonderful.

Sounds as if you need us all to cross fingers (press thumbs) for you for the next visit!
