Although it does get overwhelming and feel like you are being bombarded sometimes. I think if I had a volume control, something that would allow me to turn down the distractions when I am trying to/want to/really need to attend to something I’m not interested in/stimulated by, that would be appealing. I just don’t want to stop wondering about things though. Balance might be nice, if attainable…

You are so insightful, perceptive and observant. Hopefully, the single minded concentration will serve him well. Hoorah to you for allowing it.

In my house we call it hyperfocus. It isn’t that we can’t attend, it is that we can’t not attend to everything sometimes, except when we are engrossed, absorbed into, engaged in something incredibly stimulating. And by the way, I’m not complaining, while it is difficult sometimes, I’d rather notice and be awake than be numb. Cheers.

Cute picture. We do have lots of electronics here. Maizie never seems to get obsessed though. Her concentration comes and goes from day to day. Kinda like mine, I guess.

Gosh, why is it that your house sounds so much like mine?!?
