Summer days - the cold hearted empty shell of autism

Whilst the girls are away at Summer camp………….

the boys keep vigil

and camp out in her empty room.

So good to be “home.”

    i’ve fallen so far behind and now am catching up.

    so glad that even the trouble with napkins gives pause for thanks.

    thinking back to my own crabby excursion to the beach with my wee ones many years ago.

    bellowing “trinidad is terrible!”

    and thinking it is adorable how the boys miss their sister,.
