Our pediatrician’s office had that same poem hanging in the waiting room. It’s kinda smaltzy, but when you stop to think about it, it’s scary.

Not to make my mom out to be a terrible person but she always used to say to me, even as a little kid “don’t do things half ass!” and it still resonates today, although I still tend to do things as such!
