sorry i am so late in getting here. what a marvelous conversation. i know it’s a lot to absorb but he stuck with you. what a precious exchange, both for the funny misunderstandings and for the beginning understanding of one’s own heritage and pride in it. just marvelous.

make him a poncho with the broken but surviving oak tree for christmas. oh, i think he’d treasure that!

Loved this one, Maddy!

I just watched a dvd checked-out from the library – title: “King Arthur’s Britain”. By Acorn Media and narrated by archeoligist Francis Pryor. The title may be a little misleading, as the premise is more about evidence of British history during the “dark ages”. I enjoyed it very much.

And in a very small part of my life, I try to include genealogy – it will be THE passtime of my retirement!
