Wordless Special Exposure Wednesday

5 Minutes for Special Needs

So tell me……how do you ‘curl up with a good book?’

I do have some words over at my other site, “Alien in a foreign field” called “Omar can put a sock in it”

If you enjoy caption competitions and photographs, you may wish to nip along to“DJ Kirkby” over at “Chez Aspie” and test your brain power.

when my daughters were about the same age as your boys, they looked more like bats when they were reading: hanging upside down in the couch, with their legs dangling on the backside of the couch, their heads near the floor and their books held up to their faces. Not really something they learned from me …

kids really have more sense of humor than elders…nice WW to all! mine is up too, hope you’ve got time.:)

  3. Tiff@Three Peas:

I take the more traditional approach to reading. Sitting under a blanket on the couch. What he’s doing looks uncomfortable LOL. But he’s reading. that’s the best part. . Knowing your kids have a love for books.

For me, I sit curled up with a blanket some hot cider and the woodstove baking me like a muffin. I really need to find a good book, haven’t had much time to read lately.

Goodness! Are we related? That second position is known as The Bowen Squat. I thought only Bowen’s could do it! LOL

That looks like a really uncomfortable way of reading. Maybe he knows something we don’t?

  12. Trixie:

if I did that, my back would be in pain for days!

  13. sheila:

how awesome! it’s wonderful to see anyone at any age reading. (although at this age, that position might send me to a chiropractor) lol.
