Meanwhile I’m still struggling with international postage rates as $45 to the UK is daylight robbery as far as I’m concerned. I may have to limit myself to the good ole US of A initially and expose myself as the tendentious, ethnocentric nincompoop that I really am!

In view of the top post, why are you allowed to sully yourself with pejoratives?
Seems like further exploration of mail or transport costs is in order. Hard to believe, but weight is an issue, as well as fragile-status. Hoping you can find a more economical alternative.

International rates are exhorbitant but if someone wants the product they will pay the shipping. I think there is a slow boat option.. I received some stuff from overseas and the postage was only 6 dollars but it took 2 weeks to get here.

that postage sounds very high… what is it? overnight? No wonder the postal service is talking about having layoffs, etc. No one can ship much with postage so high…
