Joe, too, weighs-in on the difficulty of interpreting Mom's message of minimize. Regarding making cards...how are your boys with stickers? (Peel and place.) Craft stores have huge supplies including letters (scrapbook supplies). I know it is not 'from scratch' as it were, but a small assembly project might give them some success. (Might be another child development trumps green. Sorry.) Perhaps an option for (hard-working) Father's Day. I'm not much for word puzzles. I'm waiting and hoping for a pi bowl to be put up for sale. The school here made sure that both kids had made cards, which nicely saved me that task with them. For our part, we're going to "sneak" out of the house today and go and get some flowers to plant in a few planters outside the house (my wife told me that is ALL she wants, and not to do anything else).
