ah, the food thing! my son tended the other way when younger. i grew a very thick skin from sitting in cafes with him as he ate things like runny fried egg and spaghetti (not at the same time!) with his fingers…

Yes, yes! Cookies on a stick! That story reminds me of the (one) time that the boys’ paternal grandmother visited, convinced that “all kids love macaroni and cheese.” Not in this house, she learned!

Food on a stick would go over great around here. Also, I thought we were the only ones who once had a little one eating dry cheerios with a spoon. I’ve also noticed your last couple of photos have fully dressed children in them!

That’s genius! I bet he probably would have ate a cookie on a stick. My guy is a huge fan of hot dogs and those look great, I wonder if he would tear off the bread though.

My daughter loves hot dogs on a stick-my sons however-because of the name “hot dog”…one believes that they will indeed be hot-and the other…well he thinks of literal dogs.The stick idea is wonderful-I wonder if my boys would try more things if they were on sticks-especially colorful ones? I have to think about this..
