I think if everyone that had a child with Autism shared so openly and honestly it just may put an end to most of the Ignorance. I sure hope to have such a conversation with my little guy one day. I went to a support group for parents of kids with AS/HFA, etc, etc, and one of the moms with two newly dx'd kiddos (one age 6, one 14 months!), was asking about this in regards to her 6 year old. His current thing is to stop in the middle of playing and angrily say to her, "Hey! You stole my lunch!"
