When we first took Rascal to the vet as a kitten we were told that he had
‘bonding issues and behavioural problems,’ Nonna was most amused at the time. Here you can witness his issues as he guards the boys at night, from 8 o’clock sharp he starts to yeowl for them to come up to bed and then he stays there, up and down the ladder, checking, in-between nips next door to check on my daughter. He’s usually pretty tired by the morning, it’s a nocturnal thing of course, perfectly natural in a cat.

Say “hi” to “Nonna” for me.

Full of activities so my productivity is more or less zilch.

One heck of a fun day!

I just wish I’d had the video to hear those squeals……all the way up…..and all the way down…..again and again and again. Now that’s my kind of proprioceptive input.

Now this made me very happy after I’d stubbed my bare feet on heaps of abandoned bricks. But I couldn’t work out just why they were underneath the table in front of his seat.

Then I shifted gears:- Brake, clutch, accelerator.

“Nonna” and I are gaining “ground.”

And I’m passing the cleaning duties to the twit that let them watch Spiderman.

On another tack, there’s this little woman whom I have never met, called Vicki. She lives just a hop skip and a jump up the road from me and blogs at “Speak Softly.” She’s a busy little bug what with her “Literary Mama” column. I expect you know her too. What you may have missed, what with it being summer and all, is that her book “This Lovely Life” which is featured over here on this “Web page,” although my copy is winging it way from “Amazon,” probably via some unfortunate carrier pigeon knowing my luck. I’m pretty confident that it’ll prove a great read as she’s one of those eternal optimists but I’ll keep you posted.
